Wayne State University announced Thursday it would collaborate with Southfield-based Automotive Industry Action Group to develop degree and certificate programs in the field of automotive supply chain.
Called the Global Automotive Purchasing Supply Chain Network, AIAG will provide guidelines, training and education opportunities in materials management, customs and supply chain security, export compliance, quality management and other topics. WSU's Mike Ilitch School of Business will give participants in the program access to undergraduate, graduate courses, internships and international studies opportunities in China, Italy, Brazil and Poland.
